After years of building websites for small businesses, we kept running into the same problem: the tools were either too complex for non-technical owners, too slow, or both.

Swiftrics is a product of Pelton Solutions, a web development studio that has been building websites for small businesses since 2019. Over that time, we built dozens of sites for local service businesses, professional practices, and specialty retailers — and we kept running into the same friction points.
WordPress was powerful but perpetually in need of updates, plugin management, and developer attention. Squarespace and Wix were easier to use but produced sluggish, template-locked sites that fought back when customers tried to take ownership of their content. And both categories charged separately for hosting, which added a monthly bill and another set of credentials to manage.
We wanted a platform that worked the way we thought about websites: structured content stored in a database, rendered at publish time into fast static HTML, delivered from a CDN. No server sitting idle waiting for requests. No database queries on page load. Just files, served fast, from everywhere.
We also wanted an editor that non-technical business owners could actually use without calling us every time they needed to update a phone number. An interface that felt like a business tool, not a developer tool with a coat of paint.
We built Swiftrics for ourselves first — and then realized we'd built it for every small business owner who just wants a great website that doesn't require a developer to maintain.
